Played 3/6 limit in sparks, NV at the Alamo yesterday. Bought in for $100. Got down to about $20 so i rebought another $100. Then I got done to $40 before I got a rush back up to even($200). Went card dead for what seemed like forever then went on a rush late when the table got down to 5 handed. I won the last hand and that left me up $151 for the night. I started playing about 1pm and the table broke at 4am. It was one heck of a rollercoaster ride.

Always seems more fun when you leave the table with some of someone else's chips though. Twisted Evil

BTW, Here's what I can remember of the last hand(I was half asleep by then but so was everyone else, the other 4 guys where at the table when I sat down!)

I was the big blind and was dealt 10-9o. Unraised preflop so I checked, small blind and UTG called.

Flop - Q J 8 rainbow

small blind bets
I call
UTG bets
small blind calls
I call

Turn 7

checked to the bettor
UTG bets
Small blind calls
I raise
UTG reraises
SMall blind calls
I cap it
UTG and small blind call

river 4(can't remember all the suits but there was no flush draw)

I bet and get called by both

UTG shows QQ
Small blind shows J 8o

My live record is 20 hours so far. I could have gone longer, but it was 28 hours until I needed to catch a flight-so it was either power through for 40 hours straight or take a break.

I have often thought of flying to Vegas and not booking a hotel for the 1st night. I typically go until at least 7-8am the next morning anyway.

I'm a truck driver so I'm fairly use to going for a bunch of hours in a row. I usually get to play when i run out of hours for the week somewhere that has a game. It takes 34 hours to reset your weekly hours so i play for 12-16hrs(usually after driving 10+hrs) then crash till it's time to roll.

I'm a wuss. I've never played more than 10 consecutive hours. Any more than that and I seem to get loopy and my play suffers.

I had better work on that if I want to ever be on the tournament circuit.
