Call. The only hands that have you are a duck or 4 jacks, it could easily be pocket Q, 10’s or AJ. I don't think QJ or A10 because of the raise from an ealy possition. Villian may also be in there with two pair AQ may have missed his flush AXs, However there is $36.90 in the main pot you are getting approx 15/1, it was a very week river bet of $2.50 is he trapping or does he have a hand, if you bet and he goes all-in your beat and pot committed, I would just call this and be happy with the win or minimise the loss.

Yea i just called and the hand turned out like this:
Ryan_j37: calls $2.50
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Igoforgold: shows (two pair, Queens and Jacks)
Ryan_j37: shows (a straight, Ten to Ace)
Ryan_j37 collected $36.60 from side pot
MOOTSA: mucks hand
Ryan_j37 collected $2 from main pot
I thought i might have been playing scared poker not raising the river but i guess it was good i just called.

The thing here is that no hand that you beat is going to call you. If you raise the only hand that is going to call you is a straight (which ties you) or a full house. If a straight calls you get your money back and split the pot (possibly lose some money from rake and whatnot). If the full house calls you are beat. So you are putting a lot of extra money in the pot with little to gain.

I call, but I'm a chicken and always call

Looks like a blocker bet to me, but you have to risk your whole stack to find out and as others have said, no hand that you beat will call you. Good play by villain here to set the price IMO.

I totally disagree with you guys.
You guys are stuck in high stakes poker where players actually use their brain when they play. In low levels players call with trash.
Look he called a hugh turn bet with only 2 pairs and a very scary flop. he would have probably called a hugh raise as well.
Like stated, this is an obvious blocking bet. I would want to believe I could put a value bet here!

Even in low stakes games, I do not see a lot of value to raising here, even if we suspect this is a block bet.

It does smack of a blocking bet but that turn bet smooth call is scary enough to make the river kind of sick. We reraise for value and we could suddenly have to make a decision for our stack. If we push I still don't think we're likely to get called by anything we can beat.
Low stakes or not, all we can beat at the end is 2 pair or a missed draw. We can almost rule out AQ due to how slow he's played it, Q 10 is damn near the only thing we can beat that may call us. I don't see the value of reraising this either, if he had checked I'd probably check behind, he threw a small bet out I am forced to call, even better for me if I'm ahead.
Just my .02

Given the 200BB stacks I don't see how this could be anything but a call, given the board. It's a 100+ BB pot and I'd be happy for a cheap showdown.
