So im playing at pokerstars and ill play some cards, doesnt matter what they are, and the flop is... something on the lines of
3 10 3
or
J J 8
J K K
J 66
K Q K
Seriously, within the past 30 minutes, i counted 9 flops like that out of about 50 hands.
At first i didnt mind, and if you hit its great, but im so tired of seeing this crap over and over. It really feels like it takes something out of the game because of 2 reasons.
Im not going to say it, but it seems like its programmed that these kinds of flops show up. Why? Maybe to induce more better, or something, maybe it decreases it, but its annoying
2nd, i dont like getting angry when i see flops as it could throw me off what im trying to do. Luckily ive been able to take advantage of it well, but this stuff does not happen in real life.
I dunno about you guys, but im really just sick of that.

I somehow fail to see the significance of a flop of KK2 or KKJ?
Paired flops are great for some hands/situations, not so good for others...its just poker...go with the flow.

here we go for the "online is rigged" retardness one more time

I play most of my poker not online, and I havent seen so many of those flops in my life.
One game im playing right now, 3 of the first 6 flops came out in that fashion. (make that 4 out 7... make that now 5 of 9)
I dont truly believe that the place is rigged, but it just keeps serving as a reminder that i am playing online using a computer program taking away a lot of fun out of it for me.
I do normally take advantage of those situations, but it just gets so old so quickly.

I was playing in a live tournament and got the following hands dealt to me consecutively:
AA
KK
JJ
QQ
77
I flopped trip A's, Quad J's and trip 7's in those hands. (What a great tourney, by the way!)
I got moved to another table in the same tourney and the flops came in this order:
JJ5
888
no flop (all folded to preflop raise)
66J
KJK
no flop (all folded to my preflop raise)
333 (sidebar: who got paid with their A3 in the BB? That's right, me. )
Now, again, this was a LIVE tourney. No one was using mechanics, we were alternating decks and rotating the button on each hand, yet this still happened. Don't let the RNG ruin it for you. These things do happen in live play. Remember, you will see nearly 3-4 times the number of hands online as you would in a live game. Therefore, odds predict that there will be more hands like these that will come up in a shorter period of time.

That's why you never trust a woman at a poker table...

Funny, that's what the guy said when I showed my quads over his boat and took him out of the tourney. But then he brought me a beer. Men don't always make sense either.
