coaching will be coming soon. I've been very busy with essays/exams but hopefully I'll have a website with the basic stuff on there soon (A thper may be helping me make it!). Articles, videos, etc, an intro... But I could take ppl up right now - if they sort of know what they want and are willing to sign up for a bunch of lessons at once at a reduced rate (I want to guinea pig some 5 to 10 lesson 'plans' with myself and maybe another teacher and go over a bunch of topics with a committed person, etc)
I've sort of lived in a bit of a haze for a while.. but I'm enjoying it =)

Great job dude.
Cashing big in 2 major tournaments within 3 days is a HUGH achievement.
And am pretty sure $24k is a great BR booster even to a player in your level.
So, are you thinking of going up in stakes?

Bite me, everyone's on vacation eating turkey, you little instigator. Try thinking about our schedule next time you write a brag post. In return, I'll respond more quickly to your 24 hour, "pay attention to me!" window.
Also congratulations, ya beat my live tourny record by $500. I'm going to have to start playing MTT's online again...

I THOUGHT that was you. I checked your pokerdb but nothign reaally stood out. You annoyed me in the tourney for a bit =P

First time I've played at PS in a long time. I liked that tournament and I'll probably play it again in the near future. I thought for awhile I was going to make it to the final table, but a couple of tough beats put me on the rail.
Posted Sun Nov 26, 2006 11:22 pm GMT by supafrey
yeah when you equalled me in chips for a bit I thought you were going to be trouble. I dont remember any super tough beats against you, though, so i don't feel guilty =)

awesome run man, congratulations.
I'm curious about how you played these tournies.
I know you're a bit of a LAG player, putting it mildly, but I'm curious how much, how often, what points in the tourny(beginning, mid, late-mid, prebubble, bubble, final table) you switch gears, and TAG it up a bit if at all?
How much does switching gears play a part in your style?
I'm curious how often you might lay down AQ, AKs or even smaller pocket pairs to raise/re-raise preflop, with position or without position.
These quesions might be too general without given chipstacks, reads, blinds etc, but I'm wondering if there are certain situations where AKs is an auto lay down for you if you're not up against 2 shorties or something like that?
I guess I'm just trying to figure out where LAG is appropriate style vs TAG in a MTT. Can there be certain general rules applied or is it all dependant on table and how the table is playing. I suppose the latter but want to glean something more concrete from your successes if possible from a changing gears perspective.
Is this a thread hi-jack? Not intended to be.
