My wife and I are playing heads up NLHE for fun (but it's still somewhat serious) at home. I don't remember whose action it was first, but I ended up all-in pre-flop with KK. She flips over AA and my heart sinks. I'm pretty much conceding the game at this point when the flop comes KKA! I flopped quads to her boat! Boy did my mood improve! She's drawing to one out to try and stop my double-up. The turn.......... THE CASE ACE. I couldn't believe it! OVERQUADDED with quad kings?!?!? WTF kind of game is this?
So we're playing the next day for fun as well, heads-up. The flop comes T Q K ........ the turn.... A .... by now we're both looking at each other in awe, wondering if it's possible...... the river is the J !!! I have no idea what the odds are on BOARDING a royal but it was amazing, no doubt.
Talk about monsters... phew!
