All In pre-flop ?

What do you think to this ?

Fairly early on in Tournament, I had done ok with 3000 points and i had KK as my hand.

I raised 400 (blinds were 50/100) from earlyish position after 2 limpers.

Player on button had about 4000 points and went all in.

I also went all in.

He had 88.

He flopped 8 * * and turn and river were rubbish so he won.

It was a good call on my part... wasn't it ?

I agree. There is not much you can do. All you can do is get your money in with the best hand. You don't have any control over the cards, thus no need to get mad. Nice call though. Just a bit unlucky

Think about it, you got it all in as a huge favorite - is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I knew i was probably a big favourite... but is there a question against risking all before seeing the flop (esp in a Tornament) ?

Would that 8 have slowed you down? Prevented you from going broke somehow?

You are ~ a 4 to 1 favorite, you should be happy to get your money in the middle with those ods.
