Jam that pot up good.

I am not a limit player, but I know for sure this is a raise.

actual results.
I folded.
River was Js.
Lots of action.
The bottom end, and the top end of the straight got flipped over. The table drunk flipped over junk and the winner was Qs 3s.
I just had a gut feeling that someone had made the straight. Usually I would jam the pot with the set.
It was a good night though, bought in for $100 and cashed out at $343.

Do you realize you still had 10 outs? another 2 gives you quads, and 9 other cards give you a house. You don't fold in that situation even if they show you the straight.
You have overwhelming pot odds.

agreed ... you cannot possibly fold here because of the size of the pot
also consider check/raising the flop, maybe you'll get somebody out or you'll just start building a big pot (what you want)

This is a very bad fold considering the 10 outs you have if you're behind. It would be a bad fold even if they showed you what they had.

It's hard to verbalize how bad a fold is here.

No it isn't. It's very bad. There, I did it.
But folding here is absolutely wrong simply for the fact that you have the pot odds to take one off and see if the board pairs on the river. Not to mention the vast % of the time you have the best hand here... but that's a whole 'nother can o' worms.

I see the logic. I could have closed the betting with the call. If the board pairs on the river I'm golden. I would probably go for the check/raise if it paired.
Now if it doesn't pair would u check or lead out?
Also, do u fold if it gets back around to you on the river and you have to call 2 or more bets?

oops, the fold to two or more bets question is about if it doesn't pair as well, just wanted to be clear.
