Heads up hand - How's my reasoning throughout?

We've both got ~1000
Blinds are 20/40

I was dealt a 10 8 of spades on the button, and decided to pop it up another 75 (he had been playing fairly passively, and was folding to a lot of flop bets). Villain calls.

Flop Jxx 2 spades (230 pot)
He bet out 125. With the combination of the preflop call, and the weak lead on the flop, I put him on something like 22-88 (if he checks to me I bet here fairly frequently, so he wants to end it now if possible), a flush draw (if he bets out small it could cost him less then checking to me, and having to call a potsized bet), a jack, or a straight bluff. I thought a raise could force him to fold the pocket pairs, small flush draws, and the bluffs (even if it's a bluff it could be better then my hand, so him laying it down is good for me).
Even if I'm called I still have outs, I have 9 cards for my flush (as long as he's not drawing to a higher flush). The best play seems to be a raise.
I raise to 300, he calls.

Turn Q (830 Pot)
I didn't want to see his flop call, but even still, we now have a fairly good idea where we're at in the hand. The Queen on the turn is a good card aswell, putting an overcard to his possible jacks (or a 2nd overcard if he called with one of his pairs). It also adds 4 outs to our hand (if we hit a 9 we'll have a straight). If he bets there's a good chance he either has a big slowplayed hand (with a flush and straight draw out there he'll probably bet now to protect his big hands), or a flush draw (if he has a jack he'll probably check, because it has some showdown value. If he misses the flush he'll feel his hand is worthless, so he'd rather end it here).
He checks, and I check it back at him.

River 9 of spades
His check tells us he's probably got a decent, but not excellent hand.
We hit the gin card on the river, making our straight and our flush (straight obviously doesn't matter though). If he hit a bigger flush, good game to him, but for the reasons above I feel he probably has a decent, but not great hand he wants to show down.
He comes out and bets 75 (lol). I raised him another 350, and he calls.
I really wanted to put in a bigger raise on the end. If I thought he had something like 2 pair, a set, etc etc, I'd have moved allin for sure, but I didn't think he'd call any more then that.

How'd I play this hand, and how was my reasoning throughout?

Thanks.

I like it all the way through. Good analysis and good betting.

Looks perfect to me. Good raise for value on the end. Combines getting a good number of chips with a higher likelihood of getting paid. That should still give you a commanding lead.
