For anyone interested, I recently released RubyChip, an app for poker league management. It can be used to track responses for single events (ring games) as well.
It manages events, leagues, players, invitations, responses, points, rank, messages, and so on.
The app is free, there are no ads or anything. I am an avid poker player and simply couldn't find an app to suit my needs so I wrote one and will continue to build on it from user feedback.
If you have any questions or problems, let me know.
Again, this is not a company, its just me.... check out the about page or email me for more info. Hopefully this isn't considered adverstising or spam since I am not making any money at all, just providing a useful tool to other poker enthusiasts.

Thanks,
Josh

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

So what's in it for you? Nothing's truly free. What's the catch?
P.S. You're lucky Geno's in the Alps.

Just thought a useful tool would be nice. There are tons of free apps out there written by people who enjoy something and have development skills.
I play poker all the time, and the only other solutions to my problem i found were: homepokertour.com and redlinepoker.com (i think). Neither were sufficient.
Im a software engineer, so i wrote something. Yes, I get something out of it... kicks, more development experience, and a tool that I and maybe others, even idiots like muck, can use. Imagine, there are people out there that have side-projects for fun rather than being an a**hole on a forum.
This forum is powered by phpBB which is entirely free... no banner ads, registration necessary to download, or anything.

Dude, did you read our forum guidelines?

Thanks for unlocking me. I guess not. I read "DO NOT POST FOR THE FIRST TIME UNTIL YOU READ THIS" which is what I thought would be something about spamming, but its all about winning hands and what not.
You can take this down if you want... Long story short, I didnt think it was spam because its just a tool to help other people and thought I'd pass it on.

It is technically spam. It doesn't matter whether you make a profit off of it or not.
But anyway, you should try to pimp this to the PA poker guys. You familiar with them?

nope , im not familiar with them... I googled "PA poker", but didnt come up with much. Send me a pm with the info if you dont mind.
You can remove this post altogether since it violated the guidelines... pass my message onto Muck.
Thanks

To be honest, Muck was gentler on you than most of the regulars here are on spammers. I would suggest you not send inflammatory messages to those who have been here much longer than you have. It certainly will not endear you to the regulars, mods or admins on the forum.
Based on your post, I'm assuming that you're either just a helpful person who didn't read the rules or a spamming assclown. If you are the former, welcome to the forum and read the Forum Rules and Guidelines (the link is at the top) prior to making future posts. If you're the latter, then I will pick option B for you from Muck's post.
Thank you, drive thru. Next.

- I do have a bachelors degree in software engineering.
- I have developed free poker tool.
- I don’t pimp them here. If they’re relevant to a question someone asks I PM them the details.
Apart from that you were bang on!
Oh and for someone with an IT background you’re awfully naive of forum etiquette or even common sense (first post and your pimping a product, look at it form everyone else’s perspective).
