Gotta wonder what he's calling with ... push is probably good, but the bigger problem with this hand is that you werent betting big enough on previous streets to set up a nice river push payout.

If you bet 15 and then 30, the pot size is $110 and villain has $50 left, so they almost have to call the river push.

That is a very good point. In retrospect, my bets were not well-planned. I think the reason I bet so little is that my hand was so strong that I wanted to try and get a multi-way pot by offering attractive odds.

small is fine. half pot.

I think it depends on what you put him on (looks like a weaker Ace that just made good two pair with Q kicker to me) and whether or not you have seen him call large river bets or not.

Slache does make a good point that you could have sized the bets better so that the river bet was bigger and easier for him to call no matter what he had.

I think I would bet aroung 50 here and hope to get paid unless you have seen him call off his stack with weak hands. Then push.

I want my opponent to call me with a lot of hands that he's probably losing with right here. He's got 80 left, I'd probably bet a little less than half his stack so it seems like an easy call for him. Not sure he'll invest more than half his stack with mid pairs/mid-pockets, but for only 35 he has great odds and can't really fold here, and could even induce a bluff for his whole stack.

I someone should do the EV equations for pushing vs. suckbet here

there are no EV equations for that.
