Lest anyone think I'm just whining, I did make a lot back, and I actually made two straight flushes today.
The first one, I had T 8 on a 9 7 2 flop, and got it all in against a guy with a set of 9's. Turn was the J and that's all she wrote. Nice $400 pot there.
The second one I actually flopped it. I opened a pot from MP with K 10 , only to hit 9 J Q on the flop! I checked the flop, and the button quickly checked behind (looked to me like he clicked the check/fold button, which didn't make me happy). Turn was a blank, I checked again, and he quickly checked. River was a 5, and I decided, straight flushes only come around once in awhile, so why not go for the gusto? I could bet like $4 here and maybe get called, or I can make it look like a massive bluff. I went all-in, and the guy called for his last $75, after investing only $6 in the pot!!! Turned out he rivered a set of 5's. All hail the super-over-value bet.
