haha you're f.cking nuts man
nothing like a counterfeited boat to ruin your day
and nothing like an even worse call from Q high to make it all good again

That is an absolutely terrible turn card for you. And that was an even more terrible call by your opponent. . Nice hand, sir.

Gotta bet the flop here Geno. It looks like a steal and generally you won't make any money unless someone has an overpair or a 9 (unless you are playing against MLD, MegaLagDonkey, like you were).

had the same thing happen to me on a flop of 878 where i had 77 ... checked the flop, bet the turn (which was a 9 or something) and then the river was an 8 and i think i ended up check/calling a guy who had Q10

I was on the other end of a similar situation. I had K8s in BB. Flop was 8 5 8. Guy bets pot, I reraise pot, he pushes, I call thinking at best he has a weaker 8. He shows his pocket 5's for the boat, the turn is a K and, just to put the nail in the coffin for him, the river is the last 8 and I take it down. I heard quite a bit from him after that hand. He went on complete tilt and paid me hansomely for my making a horrible read and getting lucky. It was fun.
Ballsy bet on the turn, Geno. What the hell was that guy thinking calling with only Q high? I could understand A-high maybe if he thought you were bluffing, but Q-high?

My turn bet sucked since I could only realistically be called by a higher PP than 3s or the case 9. That said, this was a $10 double shootout satellite to a bigger tourney which meant idiots were in the mix. Luckily I found one
I told some guy off earlier (I know, I know) when he called a substantial river bet by me with A9 on the following board:
A8764
He agreed that his call was truly horrible given that the only aces he could beat were A3 and A2. Hell, I was only betting with AT and that was to try and get rid of him but he donked his chips to me and all was well.
