Doing $3 +.40 TURBO NL Tourneys and top 3 get money. Each time i was on the bubble.
First Hand, im 3rd in chips going against 2nd in chips
I have about 3500 and raise x3 BB (forget what it was)
flop: X X 10
I push all in and get called
He shows K 10
Ok great i have him crushed just dodge k or 10, 5 outs
Turn: 8
River: 10
Ahhhh the pain, but ok thats just 1 time and it wont happen again right?
Wrong
Im short stacked and push with A 9
get called by A 6
flop: 4 8 9
Yes, ok i have him now, he needs to get runner runner...
..
turn: 5
bah ok thats just 1 card
River: 7
what are the damn chances of that happening on the bubble on two conseq. tourneys???
i dont think i could have done anything differently, i mean i got beat by river on both but runner runner on the 2nd one...

Considering the stakes, the chances are actually quite good for this to happen. Not much you can do when you're getting your money in with the best hand. I went for about 6 months with this sort of thing happening time and time again. You just have to play through.
