I thougth I speak my mind a little about something the really irritates me. It seems that no matter what site I'm on, there is always at least one guy who puts in a comment after a bad beat with something like "Well that's Full Tilt for you!" or something to somehow suggest that bad beats only happen on that site. I usually turn off the chat box.
I see these comments on every site I play on.
Sorry, I had to get this off my chest because of a guy that kept going on and on this weekend (even after he was eliminated) and I wanted to keep the chat on because I was chating with a friend.
And if your one of those guys . . . I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT AND IF YOU DON"T LIKE THE SITE YOUR ON, FIND A NEW ONE!
thanks!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

You know you can mute one person's chat. You don't have to turn off the entire table.
And maybe others were tired of your chatter with your friend? There's probably some thread on some site somewhere about annoying chatterboxes and how they're constantly interrupting some poor bastard's rant with inanities.

I used to say sometihng like that a lot. Everytime I got knocked out of a tourney on a bad beat: "Well that's Poker gl all".
Although the important difference being I put it down to the chance in the game rather than the website I was playing on.

QFT. OMG, using poker table chat for a chatroom... I don't mean to pile on but that is definitely one of my least favorite things ever, more obnoxious than the whiniest whiner. I always have table chat on for game purposes, like table image, you can make nice if you put a beat on someone etc. plus sometimes you get useful info, but seriously no one wants to hear about your cat/spouse/personal problems and habits etc. etc.
Just my $.02

I gotta agree - the word 'Riverstars' makes me want to kill.

I'm littlebit sick of the poker/joker word play... "That's how it goes on jokerstars", "Jokerroom is rigged" - Quote Freeroll 2001. place finisher.
