After his check on the turn it seemed like he was sitting on 2 high cards, agreed?
What does everyone think about the $15 bet on the river?

I would have bet the turn, but your River bet was fine.

He actually showed Ac7c ... not sure why he would call that down...

Because he checked behind on the turn, virtually guaranteeing a bet from a whole range of hands. With a hand with some showdown strength (yes...A7 has some here...), his check requires a bluff-catcher call on the river a decent amount of the time, IMO.
More importantly...why didn't he bet the turn after you showed you were weak...

Ick, don't limp with 7s UTG in a 6-max game

You are right. It seems like ive been limping with mid pocket pairs all day and i gotta get outta that funk.
Ive had 77 3 times, 88 2 times and even 1010 2 times and ive limped every time.
However, with that being said, I was at a real agressive table and i am just waiting for them to raise 4-5x bb, which was the standard raise for the table.

At 6-max tables, I've been finding most of my money comes from raising preflop and then c-betting. Don't forget, raise size dictates how big the pot will be on later rounds. You want to raise with 77 UTG because
a) discourage action, UTG raises get more respect usually
b) encourage a "slowplay" from a big pocket pair or AK, if the flop is Q 7 x and your opponent holds AQ/KK/AA and they are aggressive, your bet at the flop will cause them to raise and then you can 3-bet all-in and take their monies
c) c-bet = $$$

I agree with The Salche . Most times it is better to raise with mid and small pp but if you want to mix your play up then a limp is fine once in awhile. Just be careful and don't get married to your hand.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "c-betting" mean?

I believe it's Salche shorthand for "continuation betting."

nothing wrong with limping here in my opinion
nothing wrong with raising either

Sean wrote the definitive translation book on my lingo ... some examples:
hooray = holy shit that was a bad beat but i'm going to be sarcastically happy about it
"mommy what's _____" = the salche making fun of a poster for asking a ridiculous question, but phrasing it as a small child
pink polo = big mistake
etc
