Villain was fairly aggressive when he detected weakness.
I thought he would call my all in with a pair of J's or better.
Are there better ways to get it in there?
Raise more PF?
Let him see the river?

Hard to say. This is read dependent, but I would have probably just led the whole way and hoped he raised and then got it all-in.

This would be one of those times when I may throw out a min-reraise. Most of the time, it would be a sign of weakness and may tempt our donkalicious friend to push over top. If he cold calls, then perhaps a push on the river making it look like a steal attempt, would cause him to commit his stack. Tough to say without reads on the players other than "donk".

Expecting a Jack to call that huge c/r is asking a lot, and if you felt he would have there is no reason to even check raise, just keep betting and get it in.

C/R's are a sign of a very strong hand. About the only thing reasonable to call that bet had you beat with the exceptions of maybe QQ or KK the way it was played.

Watch this ...

4xBB preflop makes the pot on the flop $6.75 instead of $5.25

Don't meekly bet at the flop with a 3/5 pot bet, 2/3 is better, so bet $4.25 on the flop .... this makes the turn pot $15.25, which may increase his bet size slightly

You won't get called by the huge overbet often except by hands that beat you.
