While I don't usually like pushing that hard to win so little, but you are getting a little short compared to the blinds. I suppose with what we know about villian we can make this move with any two cards, we might even be ahead here.

Do we feel a raise up to say 600-700 will not force him to fold or does it commit too much of your stack OOP to want to do that?

I really didn't want a call. Was hoping to take the blinds + limp and get away. I spose raising 600-700 might have taken the pot down if limper was weak and blinds were weak.
Good point, not wanting a call I pushed. I felt I was getting low compared to blinds and thought the odds were ok for me to take it down there.

I think you’re M is a bit low to call and try to play the flop. However, I don’t think it’s so bad that you need to push just yet either.

I think you can wait for another orbit to pick up something stronger and still have enough of a stack to make someone think twice about calling when you push.

I don’t like the idea of a raise much because I think you’d have trouble folding to a re-raise, considering the odds the pot would be offering. So you might as well cash in on the extra fold equity and make a bet that someone knows could really hurt them from the start.
