Doesn't seem that bad.

Well it was a bad beat, but having the flush draw too does make the guy look a little less flukey.

Well, it seems to me he had actually 17 outs, so it was quite probable that he might hit something. As for me, I wouldn't call the 4xBB raise with 35, even suited.

EDIT; misread.

Let's count:
9 diamonds
3 fours
3 kings
3 jacks

minus one four of diamonds

My apologies - you're right.

I read the hand too quickly and missed out on quite a few of his outs.

OK, no problem.

Villain was actually almost getting the right odds to call.

$47.5 into $123
=0.386

Villain was ~3:2 dog.

I was beaten with flopped 2 pairs so often that I am not surprised any more. It seems to me that the site, where I play, make such a hands on purpose. So I better overbet the flop to take it there.

Hrmm.. nevermind. Didn't even notice the flush draw Sad

The first mistake was calling a 4X raise with 5-3 suited!

Pushing hard/calling big with draws on the turn seems to be the "in" thing right now.

Yes, let's wait for our fold equity and odds to hit the draw to go down significantly before we make a big move at the pot.

But yeah, that hand isn't terrible, just sucks losing to the higher two pair. Losing to the flush would make me feel better.

And 35s=the shit.

That in itself is not a mistake (or not as big of one as we may think), but the position Skribbles is in makes me gag.

EP, I'm guessing. Plus, the raiser isn't particularly deep. I'd rather be later with some of the bigger stacks already in as well.

It was a pretty laggy table. Lots of big pots and plenty of players going to the flop so I was confident it would be a multi-way pot.
