Ok, Neteller and my bank just royally screwed me. I made an EFT deposit on Dec. 22 for the Stars bonus, but now they are saying it won't hit my account until Jan. 3, the day after the offer expires.
Has anyone had any success making a deposit directly onto Stars from a US bank account (I use a Wells Fargo Debit Card)? Or am I SOL on this one?

It is a little unclear as to what sequence you followed. You mention Neteller as part of the screwing process but later talk about depositing directly to Stars from a US account.
If the sequence was US Account-->Neteller-->Stars then the first stage usually takes me 3-5 days. My bank records the deduction almost instantly but the delay occurs in the Neteller receipt. (Neteller had premium charge services for faster receipt.) However when I already had money in Neteller (taken out of PokerRoom when they kicked me out) it appeared in Stars within seconds of my request (from within Stars).
I'm not sure about transfering directly from US Bank to Stars. I didn't know you could do that.
I need to check the Stars bonus as I have a little more money in Neteller.

I've directly deposited from my bank acct (US Bank) to Stars using echeck, and the deposit is instant. I've also been successful using neteller instacash directly from the Stars website.
When I decide to use my debit card, I've always directly deposited through Neteller's site (paying Neteller's juice), and then transferred to the poker site; again it is always instant.
I've never been successful, using any debit card or credit card, to deposit directly to any poker site at all.

I also have deposited directly from bank account to PS with no problem, and it was instant.

Some banks have already begun to comply with the new US Law and won't allow transfers directly to sites (I beleive that 7/15/07 is the actual date of must compliance). So, using Neteller is a much easier way to go.
Basically, I always keep 1-1.5x buyins on Neteller to rotate in to the sites that I play on so I can always capture bonuses when they come up. It does freeze the $$ in a "no interest" account, but the bonus more than makes up for lost interest.

Alright, I'll try the eCheck route and see if it works. Worst case scenario, I only get to deposit $100 instead of $600, but I'll wait one more day and see if the money is in Neteller by then.

It's all good. My debit card still worked, so I guess Wells Fargo is still in the game.
