a long time ago on party i tried to cash out with a cheque since i didnt have a credit card. someone from partypoker called my house while I wasnt home I suppose to verify my info. My mom picked up and dismissed the guy and I never bothered calling them back so they said my account was temporarily frozen. I want to unfreeze my account so if they call what info are they going to ask of me? I am under 18 so i'd have to lie plus I mightve put down fake information when I first signed up and I cant remember. I still dont have a credit card either
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

They'll probably ask you to fax or email a copy of some form of identification, like a valid driver's license.
Personally, I hope you get caught and the money is confiscated.
Good luck.

Sean_in_NJ is a peach eh?
If you lied and are under 18 you are probably SOL. I hope there wasn't a lot of money in there. Outside sending them an email I am not sure what you can do, you have a lot of red tape to dodge.

Um, I know what you can do...don't lie.

hmm what does SOL mean?
mm.. well if its not going to be easy to activate my account again then I guess thats alright. I sent them an email and theyre going to call me, though it would probably be awkward when I cant tell them the date of birth and address I signed up with There is about 350 or so in there so its worth a shot

Mark Twain said the easiest stories are the truth because they're harder to forget...
Either way. Getting caught would probably be better for you, and for my conscience, so good luck!

SOL = Sh1t Out of Luck.
Unfortunately you're not gonna get your money back. Almost the same situation happened to me on Party about 3 years ago (I was like..13 at the time) but yeah, back then they were a$$holes and they are probably even more-so today due to their player implosion.
Pick a better site to play on.

Dee Dee Dee
IF you decide to play online again, please please please either wait until you're of legal age or at least smart enough to have someone of legal age sign up for you or, if you're going to lie, write it down.

I'm rooting for you. I've thought about your situation and concluded that you are SOL. They will be looking for things like DOB and SSN. If you can't remember the fake birthday you're in rough shape. And if you made up a SSN or gave them your SSN you have no chance.
Since you made up fake info I'm guessing your parents won't help you out.
I can think of two ways (one honest and one dishonest) to possibly get your money back. But I'm not going to post them because I doubt either would work and both have the potential to get you in a ton of trouble.
If there's a lesson to be learned here it's that partypoker is more powerful than you can imagine and messing with them is not wise.

anyone that has given any poker site their SSN is a freaking retard. I can't believe people actually do this.

heres an update for you guys, they called me this morning (while I was sleeping no less) asked for the fake name (which meant they had the original info) and I was like yeah I've changed my mind, then I hung up and went to bed. Its not a big deal since I resigned to losing that money a long time ago
