Really considering going out this Sunday (I already booked a room) for the 300 +30 WSOP event. Anybody planning on trying any of these events?
My brother was talking about sponsoring 1/2 my buy-in/trip, but I was wondering what kind of payout he should receive in return? Is this kind of thing a 50% in 50% out? Or should I get more since I will actually be doing the playing?
I know I will likely be outclassed, but I just don't think I can turn down such an opportunity.

I think if he put's up half...give him half.
Seems only fair.
If he doesn't put up half are you still gonna be able to enter?
Half of nothing is still nothing and he's assuming risk as well.

I could still be able to enter, but I think it would be easier on my roll if he chipped in.

Actually, often times when a player is staked, I'm fairly certain that the deal is not 50/50. IMO I think if he stakes you for 50% (of the tournament) he should get in return 20-40% because as you said, you're the one playing and doing the work.

If you only make a minor money place give him half, If you get to final table, leave voicemail saying he gets half and then stiff him when you win it

I'd be happy for 50/50 if I didn't have the money.
If i did i'd never accept a stake.
Not that anyone cares, btw, but I'll be offering up about 20 to 50% of my WSOP action when I go down to vegas this summer. If anyone wants to buy a % (probably at even money: $100 per %) msg me before then.
