hi ,
A while ago Fulltilt introduced capped games. Never got too excited and almost never played.
The other day, couldn't find any empty seats and sat in one 6 handed. Wow , Players here are even looser then a normal .
Sure you have to adjust your play since you can't take someone's entire stack in one hand. But due to the way they play, they will call down with some very questionable hands.
Am not sure its my new love but will defiantly visit those tables again

capped games are there to protect weaker/scared money from losing too much at once. It really simplifies decisions (like limit)

How does it even work? I assume it's not Pot limit or FL, only X% of your hand can be exposed on any one hand or does it matter how many are in?

It will be like... a 200/400nl game but no person is allowed to bet more than 30k total in a single hand. (I made up the number but you can check on FT .. they have tons)

Yeah, they are selling it as something the pro do.
Whatever, what it means though, is that the low level player see it as a chance to play even more hands, call even more bets with Q high etc..
Last time I played I doubled up in less then an hour...

I think only 30 big blinds can go in or something like that. 1/2NL cap is at $60 per person.
