First of all thanks to those who replied to my earlier post.
I have sat a my first live table. I started with a NL Hold 'em Hi/Lo tournament. Tourney was about 32 players. I didn't play very well. . .mostly because of the first time jitters. Needless to say I didn't make it to the final table.
Well, I am glad to say that I played in my second tourney last night. Same game. I was much more confident and was able to play my game more than the first time. After 50 hands the two chip leaders from each of 5 tables make the final table. I was one of only 3 remaining players at my table. Chip leader (me) had 12,600 in chips and the third place had 11,200 in chips. I was the chip leader by the skin of my teeth.
Well, I was a bit nervous at my 1st "final table". I got bullied around some and fininshed in 6th place. I was pleased that I met my goal of making the final table. I am going to try to make top 3 next time.
Thanks for listening to my story. I am going to vegas in about 3 weeks. Hopefully I will fare as well :D
