Has anyone played here? Is it any good? I would suspect that it would be packed w/ casual players.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I have, but only at 3/6. It was the softest 3/6 game in the world and I loved it. I'd like to play at Paris more, I think the atmosphere is great.
When I played (we are going back to Nov 2005 here) the poker 'area' (it's not a room) was pretty small with only maybe 8 tables so I'm not sure if you will find the stakes you are after unless they have increased the number of tables running poker.

I casually looked at Paris and played a number of hours at Ballys its sister casino. Basically the same for either one I would guess which is rarely anything bigger than 3/6 limit, kinda noisy just a little section in the casino. NL action is pretty decent and is probably a good bet to stack some tourists, but mid-limit is a definate no-no.

Walked up, I agree with Geno. It's an "area" right in the middle of the casino floor with a canopy, but nothing else shielding you from the noise, et cetera.
The copule of times I've stopped by there, there didn't seem to be much action. Maybe a couple of tables.
I didn't play, can't speak about that.
