Ya know what? coaches are great, but you gotta put a lot of effort into improving your game. You should go through your own hand histories, pick out 10-15 hands that you either won or lost and post them up here for discussion. Figure out those spots where you should have made an extra bet, or folded that TPTK.

Another excellent resource is YouTube.com - my cash game play has improved an insane amount by watching every episode of high-stakes poker, which are available and free. For sit-n-go strategy, there are probably about 30 videos by a pokerpro, search for the name "Professor77" and you will see all of them.

I'm also sure that there are many people who are willing to take your money in exchange for reviewing hand histories, but until you have done those steps, you probably shouldn't immediately start paying someone.

I ususally go over all my HH after each session noting down where I missed bets or got careless... I'm doing good 7.5ptBB/100 over 20k+ hands. I'm always reading or rereading something and my BR is doing getting fat because of it. I'm just looking for an outside persons view of my play. Nothing against my friends I just don't want my homegame regulars looking over my play that much. Not to mention the caliber of players available here. And if someone is actually willing to pour over tens of thousands of HHs to help me I'd be more than willing to comensate them accordingly. Even my friends would expect something.

I'm curious as to what kind of compensation you were talking about and what level of analysis. That's alot of hands... were you hoping for something super general pros/cons or detailed analysis of literally every street, decision, etc + some general notes of your "style" as well?

I'm more than willing to help but I'd need to know what kind of work you'd be expecting.

lol... not expecting someone to go through 20k HHs. Was just more stating of what I have available to analyze. Was hoping someone can help me point out some flaws/leaks in my game. Analyze my style of play. Tell me why my Won $ at SD is only 49% while my went to SD is 24.73%. (am I just showing the wrong hands down? is my playing style too easy to pick apart and they know exactly when to call?) Why I'm losing money with 2 pair but my W$@SD is 51% ? These are the type of things I need to fix. My BB/100 for the last 22k+ hands is 1.95 but over the last 10k it's 5.21 down from the 7.5 when I played nothing but 25$NL in Nov. I'm sure there are some people here that know enough to help bring these numbers up...

You want to find a way to get friendly with Taylor Caby, The guy took on a "protege" about 2 months ago. The protege's name was Ryan Daut. Ryan won the PCA for about $1.5 million earlier this month :p

you didnt answer my questions really, ensano. what are you looking for?

reading over that many hands, even just "skimming" for your style/leaks takes time.

well I was reading over a post from 2+2 on using pokertracker http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=ssplnlpoker&Number=4946669&fpart=1&PHPSESSID= and from what I can see my biggest leak right now is my play with suited connectors and EP aggression... other than that what WOULD you be able to do?

Is that stat really bad? I think it's fine really.... you call 1/4 of the time and win 1/2 the time. What should it be?

they say it should be around 70%
