Looks about right.

Looks fine to me. He could easily have a smaller overpair like 88 or something and think its best here.

Well, if you're going to call that raise, you'll probably end up all-in anyway, so I like it just fine.

I guess my question here is, since I plan on going all-in anyway with it ... how does calling the flop raise, and then either raising all-in or betting all-in on the turn look?

Meh, I say just push it here. But probably doesn't make much difference. Just hate to give an Ace a freebie.

It depends on what villian has, if it's an overpair to THIS board, and it's likely the case, we may have a bunch of scare cards to avoid making our move on the turn. (his scare cards, not ours)

I prefer SOME kind of raise after he C/R us, all in will do as well. Planning to make the move on the turn after a C/R on this board I think is working against us.

I would actually prefer what you suggest. I would smooth call and hope the Ace doesn't come and then find a way to get villain's remaining stack. An ace is the only card that scares us really, so considering the $$ isn't too deep, I give it a shot.

Calling the flop works fine since you got pos. I can't say an ace would scare me much either.

I'd have made the same play on the flop, but villain has 44 and unless we hit a K we're going down. Again, I'd have made the same play, but the limp/call preflop doesn't look pretty to me.

This also worried me too, but villain could've easily done this with 77-QQ. Remember, based on the preflop action my range isn't as small as say JJ-AA ... I'd easily bet this flop with as low as 9T, or KJ, etc
