ok on the first one i think there is a case for folding preflop...... Then u check the flop... perhaps a bet here would be better? if he re raises he probably has you beat... but in this situation if u bet out just to fold to a re raise with top pair can sometimes be sh1t also. So u check call the flop ok, then on the turn u check raise... u are deep so i dont mind this move but the pot is getting bigger and bigger u re raise to a good amount tho so finding out where u are at least.. he calls now u have to think he has u beat? AJ AA KK QQ or a set i dont like the river bet at all but once u have made it i guess u have to call the re raise. I think u played the hand very wierd like u wanted value... but without knowing if u were strong in the hand.
Guess you read the guy for paint cards on the second one, hard to comment really as i cant make a read on him. But it looks like prety shit calls from u as he prolly had sumthing to call u with preflop....

H1: You sure end up putting alot of chips in with that KJ.
H2: I don't get this hand. Why do you want to call down 7k chips with AK high but not c-bet? You've been stealing too much?
And calling down with AK high in NL is generally a bad move w/o some very good info on the player. Most of the time raising will be superior to calling.

once he called teh c/r on turn i know im beat, so I dont know why i bet like that on river, bad play hand 1, he had JJ.
Hand 2, he had A-3 - nothing.....Think 2nd one was quite easy call imo once i check flop he leads with alot of hands, most that dont connect with the board.

is that player specific or just "he" = dead money player
for hand 1, i think you need to raise or fold there, you're OOP with a weak hand and finding out where you were at cost you quite a bit of chips on the later streets, repopping to 6000 would be hot, but a fold is probably better

I agree that KJ hand I played quite atrociously -this was a deep stack mtt btw and I had been playing for ages so I think this contributed. Really poor post flop play.
The AK hand, this guy was creative enough to bet then bet river too. I didn't continuate on flop cos I thought there was a reasonable chance I was ahead and if I wasnt he wont fold on that flop. So I checked, then when he leads the turn I felt he picked up on weakness and took a shot. It was a goood turn card for me pairing the board also, and on the river when he leads I am even more sure I am ahead, cos he would check most hands on river fearing I am slowplaying a big pair (which I could do on rainbow board here).... bar trips and full house which I deemed unlikely. Yeah he was quite a bad player.

nah i like the call with ak if u think u are ahead..... not like u have a lock on the hand best to keep the pot smaller, i mean if u re raise and he has a draw and he fancys a shot he might call it. then on the river when he sees how much in the pot he may bet really big to try and take down the pot, then u faced with a very tough decision on the river. If u think the AK is good then no need to swell the pot calling down is good
