Darrell Jordan can be described as a man on the go – a fast-talking person who flits from one topic to another, a quick decision-maker with hi-speed thought processes and a never-tiring attitude with hi-energy levels. Playing basketball at the University of Texas must have set the pace and accounts for his boundless energy. And this superb personality has now joined the race to occupy the seat of the mayor of Dallas.
Darrell Jordan is married to Ann and the couple has two daughters and a son. All of them are married and well-settled – daughter Stacy, an attorney with Webb and Ackels in Dallas and her husband Rudy Rodriguez, an attorney; son Patrick, an assistant district attorney with Dallas County and daughter in law Pam; and a daughter Kendall, admissions director at the meadows School in Las Vegas and her husband Rock Pillsbury, a teacher and coach.
Darrell’s hobbies include sports, reading, politics and watching “60 Minutes” on TV. He also enjoys going to the movies. But Darrell frankly admits that his favorite pastime is getting involved in his Bar and community activities.
He has given a lifetime of service to his profession and his community. His achievements are testaments of his involvement in public causes. Friends, colleagues and critics alike admire the commitment he shows towards the society. The Dallas, Texas and American Bar Associations recognize his lifetime of dedication to the legal profession.
