Posted Sun Jan 14, 2007 5:49 am GMT by Moon_Child
Usually if I have position over my opinions I would bet out no matter what the flop is, but the question is... what type of flops should I not bet out on... if its like 789? what about if my opinions calls when I have missed the flop... what do I do on the turn if it hasn't helped my hand improved?

how much should i bet for the CB?
and when do i fire at it again?

the more information on this topic the better
i appreciate the help ^^

What comes out on the flop doesn’t matter so much to me as the people I’m playing or what they think of me. If it’s rags I’m representing a PP, if it’s an Ace I’m representing TP.

My main considerations are:

  • Few opponents 1-2.
  • They’re tight-passive.
  • They’ve seen me fold a lot and make rare moves.
  • They’ve seen me bet a flop that I later showed down to show I’d hit.
  • I haven’t been CBing too much.

If I get callers or raisers how I continue depends a lot on the hand but most of the time I slow down. Normally my previous action lets me see the Turn for free.
