So, now that Neteller is down, what's the way to go?
I looked into ePassporte... but just to load the money into ePassporte, you're getting charged 5% juice on every $100!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Well, I'm traveling out of the country next month, so I may look into opening a foreign bank account so I can continue to use neteller.

5% of $100 is only $2.50...are there any other charges Sal?...if not $2.50 on $100 is cheaper then Neteller.

click2pay still seems to work. Also, you can get an ATM card!

Ok...ok you buttheads...I made a mistake...big deal...sue me or shoot me...
Yes it should be $5 for every $100. Still not bad considering NT used to charge like $8.50 to move $100 into their system.
So what does anyone have to say about epassporte? Good or bad? Any extra fees for like cashing out?...tranfering money into an account?

Dave-
Do you use this method? Are you completely comfortable with it? Essentially, it looks similar to NETeller.
Have they said anything about their operations going forward for US players? I would hate to set it up and then have it shut down a few weeks later.
Thanks,
Shorn

I have used it off an on for the last 18 months and am comfortable with it. They have made no comments about the recent legistlation.
My deposits and withdrawals from Full Tilt are extremely fast. Instant to Full Tilt and a few hours from FT to c2p. Transfers to my checking acct are a bit delayed, about 3-5 business days on average.
I havent used them a lot in the past, since Party Pokers iGM worked so good. But I have done 10-15 transactions in the last 3 months w/ 2-3 different poker sites.

Man, you guys swarmed all over him on that one. I had to double check on calculator for that one.
Thanks, Dave, for the heads up. I'll see into going with your deposit of choice. Is it a quick setup or does it take awhile?

I have never had a problem with Epassporte in my two years using them. I don't have me bank account connected to it though.

I think I was able to set up right away. That was the reason I went with them in the first place. I am not a patient man.
BUT SAL, FOR CHRIST SAKE, YOU LIVE IN VEGAS. Put on some clothes and hit the tables.

Yeah, just tried to deposit on full tilt. Neteller is done, they took away the option to use an echeck and my debit card doesnt work...damn
Epassporte charges u the $5 which sucks and i feel like id be safer giving my SSN to a con artist rather than click2pay. Damn this sucks.
Also, I cant play stars anymore because I got a warning for bad language, which def means stars will hate me and rig their games against me .

Posted Thu Jan 18, 2007 8:56 pm GMT by supafrey
as a measure of good faith, send me half of the money now so that i get it before you actually need to do a full cashout because of legislation. this applies to everyone in the u.s. Let me be your mule!!!
You can call me Carson Cashman, in honour of our friends Geno + SuckX.

BTW-I did take a Visa gift card that I got for Xmas and use it to fund at Full Tilt. I dont know if it would always work, but you can always use it for something else if a poker site doesnt take it.
Since they are paid for in advance, maybe that is the reason they go through so easy.

I've used click2pay in the past before I switched to neteller. If I recall I wasnt too thrilled with their service but it work just fine. Never had an issue or felt unsecure about it.
eChecks, their success comes down to your financial institutions. The guidelines/policies havent been drafted yet, but many already have and had measures in place already. Some banks may work for awhile, but many likely will not.
