Dream flop, bad turn, disasterous river, BIG pot.....

UTG I have 8 Heart 9 Heart and limp on a semi loose 8/16 table. 3 more limp, a short stack raises, the BB (very tight player) reraises, I call, all call, shortie 4 bets, BB caps at 5 bets, all call, shortie is all in for $38 ($2 shy), 5 way pot.

Flop 9 Spade 9 Club 8 Spade ARE YOU SHITTING ME??? BB bets, I smooth call, another raises, pot gets capped 3 way w/ one still all in.

Turn 8 Club , damn, my stone cold nuts might be chopped. BB checks, I bet, they just call.

River A Spade BB checks (I dont think the BB would check AA, but A9 from another chump is still possible, but he would have raised the turn, the all in might have AA and take down the $198 main pot) I still bet out, and get called by the other 2.

I show the 89 and both muck....whew!!! I spend the next 3 hands stacking chips, yippee!
