how bad did I play this

The usual no read crap

Was busy at a S&G at the time and played tight aggressive. Only showed good hands.

This is actually a good card for me as it gives me 9 more outs, but villain attack.
He could have a made str8 (9J - 96) hit a set or plain bluffing.

Whats my action?
Do I push, fold or call. I think calling is the worse choice - so I thats what I did...
hero calls $2.55
*** RIVER *** Ten of DiamondsEight of ClubsQueen of HeartsSeven of Hearts Six of Clubs
sadaminsane bets $2.05, and is all in
hero folds

Wrong turn call? what about the fold on the river?

This pot cost me a lot and confused me.

I think the worst part is the preflop raise. I like the CB and the turn gives you a bazillion draws. I think he definitely has a made hand when he bets pot on turn, especially because its half his stack. I don't think he has enough behind to make the call on the turn, but good fold on river.

I'm in the CO, table is fairly passive and often fold to a PF raise.
So I have no problem with that... I do hate the turn call though..

I don't like the preflop raise with two limpers already. Maybe just call or put in a 2xbb raise to at least discourage the blinds from playing and keeping the pot small.

pushing the turn may have been best, but I don't think he was going to lay it down. the river fold is fine. He's probably not afraid of AQ if that's what he's putting you on.

This doesn't make any sense to me, we are worried about the two limpers so instead of raising more or limping we raise less?
What kind of info are we getting from this?

Raise preflop is ok to vary your play, but don't make a habit of this.

Fold the turn. You don't have the pot odds to hit your hand, and with him having so little left, you don't have the implied odds either, not to mention you have no fold equity no matter your action.

Obv. fold the river.

Preflop is fine imho. I prolly like raising better than limping as it:

1.) Buys us the button alot of the time.
2. Our hand is a good implied odds hand.
3.) It builds a pot which based on preflop action is likely to contain alot of bad players.
4.) Traps dead money in the pot.
5.) Its fun.

Trapping dead money (the guys who limps but folds to a raise) is very lucrative in low stakes NL ring games and I prefer it to limp-fishing for strong hands on most occasions.

I actually like preflop, a lot.

DC is right, turn is actually a fold because of how little money he has behind, if he had close to $5 this would've been good.
