Nice to see another Minnesotan on the forums, I was just browsing the forums and saw you mention Canterbury - what do you normally play there? 8/16? Higher?

Wouldn't mind getting some tips if I see you there Smile

At Canterbury I play 6/12 8/16 and on a handful of occasions 15/30.

My advice would be to play the player. They are a ton of solid players, then some absolute maniacs. Folding AJ AQ preflop vs some will save you a ton, but reraising w/ those hands vs the maniacs will get you paid off.

Also, CBY has 9 handed games, so you can loosen up a little vs the typical 10 handed game online.

You know I was also moved by your.... "No Limit is boring; limit poker is a lot more fun." Are you still standing by that statement?

Absolutely. Call it no foldem holdem or whatever, but watching pots build on each street is much more fun than raising preflop and making a bet and taking it down. NL can have some very tense moments, but those are rare compared to limit.

ah Dave you have never played the Great No Foldem 1/2 NL at Foxwoods It plays like a 2/4Limit Game only with Twenty Doller Minuim Open bets that get called by half the table Smile
