Okay, Think I was getting laid like 6-1 on the river but i might be wrong, aint checked. I remember thinking "wtf can he have ?" ....I thought he would read me for a hand like Ks or Qs here to be honest the way I have played it, or a bluff like KQ so I wasnt sure. Set ? A less kicker pushing ?
When he re raises the river, I should be behind, but 2 questions I pose..... 1) Do you call? 2) Are you beat?

My first guess is he has a Pocket pair. Now seeing how you usually run down a table with aggression and checked the turn - he can think his Pair is still good.
He might also hit his set.

The way played, and amount of chips you have behind, I guess this is an auto call.

But I know nothing!

I think the way this hand was played you should call the river, but expect to lose like 50% of the time. Either way, you are getting pretty good odds to call.

I'd say that he either has AX or a PP. I also think that you are priced in making this a pretty easy call

He might be thinking, "if i'm wrong and i'm beat I'll have so few chips that I might as well push now and hope i'm winning". So he could easily be pushing a weaker ace or maybe something like jacks. That or he slow played a flopped set.

7-7 turned set....He said he sensed weakness ( so i guess I got what i wanted cept the 2 outer) , he said he was gonna bluff turn but then hit.
Thing I said was - anything I raise with pre flop and bet out on has 7-7 beat there, If I had an Ace hes beat, if I had a pocket pair its highly likely to be hihger (utg raise), so I think a re raise would be better option from him if he sensed weakness. Ended up finishing like 16th in this mtt....annoying.

Woah thats insane ciso, exactly same thing happened to me in mtt last night. raised it with AK oop... flop looked like that turn i checked he checked, river i bet and he went all.. i called with my AK and he had lower pp but didn make his two outer. I think u gotta call it really u played it in such a way taht he may think he can push u off it... so when he tries to do that i guess u call. same with my hand last night

I suppose this is a personal preference but I would've bet more on that turn, and probably raised a bit more preflop too. That might've made the hand a bit easier to play.

Yeah salche - that is more standard....But I trying to disguise my hand, I trying to sell that ive missed/ that I am weak. When he flat calls flop , I thought theres good chance he got A10-AQ or 10-10 etc. Then I throwing alot of leash checking the turn ( also get a value bet in on river if he has 8s-js etc).....

Most people would raise more, but I prefer to keep the pot smaller If I can, $4,400 is a reasonable raise still imo and cos I am oop to boot I am keeping pot smaller. I think I played the hand relatively well and unfortunately got priced in. I got a marginal call from my opponent and he even said he was ready to bluff on the turn ( which is free chips for me really) so I aint hard on myself, I was curious however to know If you lot would fold on river since its hard to think he pushes river with one pair hand.

I think it's one of those really close situations for that river call.

On one hand you know you're beat a lot here, and you're almost calling to see what he had so you can play better against him, and other players in general etc.

But as you said, is he really pushing the river with less than TPTK? Probably never. However it looks really weak to fold there, and observant players might start to pounce on you.
