Actually we are a bit afraid that this could happen to us too...
France is starting to ban all the gambling. The Bosses of Bet&win, or bwin, (the largest internetgamblingsite, dont know if you guys know it there) were put to jail, while they were in france for some buisnesstrip, because commercial its not legal there or something...
Probably you heard about EPT Deuville... they canx it, for whatever reason... i´ve heard its because they want to make the same stupidity in france as your politicians did..

In Europe its very different. European law and statutes protect free trade. All that is happening is that they are trying to protect their monopolies on Sports Betting. This is the issue, its not on line gaming as most have the Euro Lottery, its sports betting and that alone.
Should not get this confused with Casino's or Poker, its a very different issue in Europe, and the laws state that free trade must happen, which is why all people attempted to be arrested have been freed by the European court who overrule the local courts.
