I overbet because villain just told someone a couple of hands ago that no one pushes with a made hand. Also didn't want to let a higher hart the incentive to chase.

It's possible that he already has a higher flush, but I would be more apt to put him on A Heart x off. Possibly a 3, 9 or J to go with his heart, but I doubt it. 2 pair is also a possibility. It seems that he certainly doesn't want a call.

P.S. Don't let anything anyone says in the chat influence your play.

Call

(and then cry when he outdraws)

Edit: after going thru it again i'd be surprised if he's raising on a draw, much more likely to have top pr, possibly a heart in his hand but I think he puts you on a draw and is raising to protect top pr.

No. I never fold this. If he had a better flush than you, why would he raise your hideous overbet? Call and hope he doesn't outdraw.

In this particular situation, there is no possible way I fold.

Do you guys think stack size take part in the decision?
To me seeing I started the hand with 36XBB over the max buyin while he only hold 40XBB made the call much easier...
Don't know how easy it will be to call had he had me covered.

What do you guys think about my flop bet?

I want to explain my read about him. Like stated few rounds before, he busted an even Shorter stack calling allin on a flop with bottom pair (3).
When the pusher (who missed his draw) berate him, he proudly said he made a good read , he his always right and no one push with a made hand.

That is the main reason why I over bet, was hoping he had some kind of a hand and will continue with his "read" of how everyone play Smile

At 10 NL I couldn't even begin to contemplate folding a threeflush in a HU pot.

Easy call, I wouldn't worry about this the least untill you have 4-5 times the buy-in, and even then I think you should just worry and click call anyway.

This example I rarely fold, but yes I do fold this hand ever.
