Hi guys ,
I've got to example when a 9 people S&G got down to 3 handed.
Blinds are high and I don't feel there is much poker left.
Is this the right play.
Hand 1 :
blinds 120/240
Hero : 3040 - BB
Villain 1 : 3500 - Button
villain 2 : 6960 - SB
Villain 1 raise to 600.
villain 2 fold
Hero looks at A Q
Hero push. Right move?
Hand 2 :
blinds 120/240
Hero : 2040 - button
villain 1 : 7995 - SB
Villain 2 : 3455 - BB
Hero A 9
Hero push..
Thoughts?
Danny

So hand 1 you just want to make sure all money go in.. Or are we folding to a flop push?

When it gets 3 handed, im super aggressive, esp at these limits. I push every time on these and dont think twice about it. I usually get called because of my aggressive play leading up to this, but a 4-5bb raise or push is good.

Both pushes are good.
I never want to slow play non-pair hands this late, its too easy for them to get away on the flop if they dont hit. And if they do, they take your stack.

Both pushes look fine.
Hand 1 you’ve got a strong hand, low M and some money already in the pot.
Hand 2 your M is a strong motivator to push.

ok. was trying not to be result oriented.
Am still not sure about hand 1.
Anyway, hand 1 he did in fact held AK.
Flop came JQ7 or something - but the turn was K.
Its easy to see had I only called, he might have fold the flop. But I guess this is being result oriented.
Hand 2 I was even less lucky.
BS had A and other guys had 8.
The game finished in that hand
But am happy enough I did the right move.
My S&G results are looking better and better and I'm almost back to positive ROI %
