is there a way not to call this?

Am not going to hide the result. And no this is not a bad beat post.
Decide to be a little aggressive with my draw. My small bet on the turn was to induce villain raise (he did this before). However when he pushed I did for a sec wonder if he have the one hand that beat me. Surprisingly , the chance of us having the same hand never crossed my mind.

I couldn't see anyone playing Q9 , and forgot the fact that he was in the blinds.

So any way, is this just a cooler or should I ever consider folding this?

You go broke with the 3rd straight every time?

Given the action to that point and the board, yes.

What hand can we beat that is making that move and also let us limp? He check raised us and then pushed when we raised him back. Please tell me you aren't putting him on 2 pair anymore. We can now beat 88 and tie 7,9.

/Don't get it

I'm not the nit I was before but I still fold my share of crap end straights to uber agression. There is a reason this is called the sucker end of a straight.

At 10NL very few people are raising pre-flop w/ A8, AT, even AJ, and certainly not JT. Conversely most players at 10NL with those holdings (or a set) will get it all in on this turn, without thinking what beats them.

So if we can beat 2 pair at 10NL we never fold is what we're saying here?

Jauron, note that this is a LOT different than "never".

Explain how it is.

This reads that you interpreted my statement as saying because it's 10NL, if we have a hand better than two pair, than we never fold.

I said that because we beat two pair on THIS hand, with THIS board, and THIS action, we don't fold THIS time. That is a lot different than NEVER folding at 10NL if we beat two pair. I think that was pretty clear.

I use a simple rule that saves me tons of money when playing a crap or low end of the straight, that rule is to only call a leading bet when you hold the low end of a straight. If you had not re-raised then villian probably wouldn't push. True you won't win a big pot but you won't lose a big pot either. Play slim when playing the low end.
