When the turn came i knew i was in trouble but felt commited. Anything i should change about the hand besides raising more on the flop? The person was a calling station and couldnt decide what to do. Thanks guys.

Fold preflop? I know it's boring, and I know it's tempting since you have a hand that "plays well in a multiway pot", but the more of those I let go the better, I find. I like those in the blinds, I like those if I'm first in and/or for a button steal maybe, but you have lousy position, no high card value therefore as you saw little flush value, it's going to be a big pot with nearly everyone in, and those make a lot of second-best hands.

I'll limp hands like this from mid/late position often and bail if I miss. Almost dream flop, but the post flop betting screams that we're playing against some flush draws. I'ld likely have just called the .80 bet and saved agression for the turn and river. The betting action on that flop is great for us, so long as we don't see another club...
The club on the turn, and the villans bet... very clear that we're beat. For us to call, we have 1 out which turns out was in villans hand.

Have to shake these kinds of calls off. When you're confident that you're beat, let it go quietly. The idea of commitment in a cash game will cost you more in the long run than the few bluffs you'll beat.
Villan here bet the pot on a flush draw and a weak mid pair: we're going to get paid here sooner or later. No need to give him more until then.

ahh!! Don't just limp with suited connectors. Their brilliance is to attack the bigger hands. If you are dealt 56 suited either raise or fold preflop, why limp?? It just lets other garbage hands in for the ride...
Do you know how beautiful this flop is when you raise preflop, and a overpair comes along and you flop a straight? Or how many pots you can win with just a simple continuation bet when your opponent misses?
Watch Daniel Negreanu on HSP... the master of the suited connectors raise..
until you get it down, fold them preflop unles you are late postion. Don't limp.

I say it was played right.
You can limp with suited connectors from MP in a passive table and even raise them from LP or call a bet if you feel like gambling.
This is a dream , you got a the nut str8 and a flush draw. And like you see from the action, in these levels people will call pushes with silly hands like TP, 2 pair, str8 draw etc..
It is just a cooler that a slightly higher flush was there.
I go broke here every time!
