hi all

we played a game at the pub yesterday but there were some games where I wasn't sure of the hands so if any1 can tell me who wins in the following scenario's I would appreciate it very much Wink

//first hand
the board: 8Diamond 6Club kSpade 8Club AHeart
player1: ADiamond JSpade
player2: ASpade 10:club:
who wins? I thought its was equal

//second hand
the board: 10 Diamond J Heart QClub J Diamond 9 Diamond
player1: K Club 4 Club
player2: K Spade 2 Club
who wins? I thought its was equal too

//third hand
the board: 10 Club 6Heart 9 Diamond9 Spade 7 Spade
player1: 7 Heart 8 Club
player2: 8Heart 4Heart
who wins? again I thought its was equal too

This thread is all about this but I'll answer this specific ones below:

Hand 1 - SPLIT POT
Both players have AA88K - their J and T kickers are meaningless because the K on the board is higher than both.

Hand 2 - SPLIT POT
Both players have a straight which uses all 5 cards and all other cards are meaningless

Hand 3 - SPLIT POT
Per hand #2
