Fold or Raise ? AKs in 2nd Position + Multiwaypot

Posted Mon Feb 12, 2007 9:07 am GMT by Blise
Was an early stage in a small real Tournament with Blinds 10/25.
8 Players seated on the table.
Everything far far far away from the money.
Reads on Villain#1 : Seems a little bit loose, but tightened up lately after lossing some pots
Reads on Villain#2: Got quite no reads on him, because he didnt show down a hand so far but doesnt play so many pots.
Hero: Trying to play tight as possible, stealing some pots from time to time but only in position. Tight - Passive image
Stacks:
Hero 800 (UTG + 1)
Villain #1 1100 ( UTG
Villain #2 1400 (Small blind)

Action as follows:
Hand Dealt to Hero King of DiamondsAce of Diamonds

UTG:Villain #1 raise to 100 ( 3 BB )
UTG+1:Hero Reraises to 300
UTG+2 - Button : Fold
SB : Calls after thinking a little bit
BB folds
Villain #1 calls 200
Pot : 950

Flop : Ace of ClubsJack of SpadesQueen of Spades

Villain #2 raises 300
Villain #1 calls
Hero ???

Pot is 1550 and 300 to call given me more than 5:1 odss on my money.
The 300 Bet seams strange, the call even stranger.

Should i fold or go-all in ?

i dont think theres a difference between calling and going all in as i would be left with about 200.
My thoughts at this hand was that i could only beat/split two hands that would call a preflop raise first / rereaise 2nd posiition at this point : KK and AK
Given to my odds its a "must" call, so what to do ?
thx for suggestions

Edit: / Sorry - wrong Blinds level, i t was 10/25 instead of 25/50

I get it all in there unless I know for sure one of them has got the straight.

Hard to second guess what our villains have here could be any number of hands, high cards and draws everywhere, we are in front a lot of the time and can improve, I push.

hmm, i am little bit confused now, but i did know afterwawrds my fold at this point was wrong.

My question only was , what hands could i beat that would call a preflop raise of 12BBs after raise 1st / reraise 2nd Position ? :/ I really thought a while at this point :/

All the hands that i could imagine after the preflop action were Ak,AQ,AJs,AA,KK,QQ,JJ, maybe TT :/
And of those 8 Hands i could only beat KK and TT and split AK , so i thought with two players left there is a pretty big possibilty of a player have one of those :/
Am i thinking to Tight ? :/
thx for help

Stack size alone makes this one of the easiest pushes ever.

You give people far too much credit.

Granted, it's a bad flop, but you're not deep enough to lay this down.

I agree with DC here, push, but I don't expect to be ahead often.

whoever is interested i folded that one after thinking a little bit.
It Turned out Villain #1 called with AT on the Button and he won with a pair of Aces , Villain#2 was a total donk playing his gutshot Straightdraw with some kind of random Tx ^^
should have pushed , but i wanted to know why Wink thx for you Answers ....
