Say im playing low stakes .02/.05 Nl 10 Max buy in. You dont really have a read on the people. You have AK, you then raise it to 25 cents and 2 guys calls. Flop is A53 You bet .50 cents and guy raises to 1.50 What do you do?
Another situation, (everything applies) KQ flops is K79 You bet .50 and someone raises 3X How should I react to these hands? I get uber confused here and usually end up winning big or loosing big. Thank yas

I have the same problem... for me it depends on how they're playing... if their a maniac and pushing with anything good i'd reraise... if they're short stacked I'd reraise... if a solid straightforeward player I'd call and reevaluate on the turn...

Position, position, position. Don't get tangled up in big pots like this from EP without some kind of idea of how your opponents are playing. Usually, when I first sit at a table, I'll sit out the first round and just watch them play. It gives me a feel for their betting patterns.
Without more info on position, stack sizes, etc. it's impossible to really say what you should do with either of those hands. In both instances, you refer to yourself betting first postflop meaning that you're OOP. I don't play AK or KQ very hard preflop from EP unless I'm at a pretty tight table. Those are rare at the stakes you mentioned. I will probably limp with them and call a raise depending, again, on the stack sizes, betting habits of my opponents, etc. Postflop, I prefer a check/raise when you hit TPTK. You may very well take it down right there from players that are just continuation betting. If they reraise, I would probably call and re-evaluate on the turn.
