ePasssporte

I just wanted to let you guys know that I opened up an epassporte account, and I am still waiting for the money to go through.

It takes about a day or two to initially set it up. This wait includes epassporte dropping some pocket change into your bank account, then you verify that amount... all this to verify your account.

So, now I am waiting for about ten days before my initial deposit amount can go through. This amount is $300 only. Basically, they made a max on what I can deposit initially. I'm trying to load it with the full $600, so that I can get the full deposit amount at Full Tilt.

Oh, yeah, basically I'm only using my bank account to load the epassporte account.

Thanks for the info. Keep us posted on how it goes. I've thought of using epassporte also. Is the 'withdrawal' amount also limited to $300? That would be a bummer. I've emailed them about how to get the Virtual Visa Card without getting the physical Visa card ($35 annual fee,) but haven't gotten a response yet.

Other options that I looked at are: Western Union. The big drawback (besides fees) is that you have to transfer funds to an individual in Costa Rica (you gotta be kidding!)

Also, I've thought about sending a cashiers check directly to GlobalCollect in the Isle of Man via registered mail. Pokerstars provided me with the pertinent information.

If anybody knows a good way to grease the skids for funding their accounts, please post it. Ciao.

They're horrible in responding to questions. The only way I've ever gotten a response from them was sending 4 emails, and threatening to take my business elsewhere if they don't care to respond.

You get the Virtual Visa when you sign initially sign up. The Virtual Visa is a number, not a card. In other words, you get the actual 'number' to a Visa, that can be used to make online and phone purchases. If you care to receive the "Visa Electron", then that is the card itself, which can be used to make ATM withdrawals. And you are correct, for that, there is an annual $35 fee.

Anyone aware of any withdrawing fees, from site to account or account to bank?
