Trying PS for the first time. What type of players are they? Been on FT mostly.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Mostly carbon based, although I had my doubts about one of them.

Are all the low stakes NL ring games no all-in? What's the point of NL then?

Ploch-
It means no all-in protection if you should be disconnected. Rest assured, you can go all-in on these tables.
Hope this helps.

Just the opposite for me. I played on Stars exclusively for quite some time and recently began playing on FT also.
The players are the same. They're morons.
Actually, the only difference is the (virtual) physical layout of the FT site and the ease of interaction. The biggest complaint I have about FT is the trying to move that little bar to make a raise. What a pain in the butt. Maybe when I get used to it? There are plusses and minuses to both sites but since both of them still accept deposits from my debit card I'm happy.
