Personally I think that's about the worst amount to raise preflop. Either make a little value raise (ie about 350), or just shove it all preflop (I might actually prefer that). But bricking the flop and hoping BOTH guys missed is just not the type of Poker I like to play, because you're just taking shots in the dark.
