In a 9- handed NL Texas Hold'em game, where do the seat positions start and end. In other words, are the first 3 seats early position, the first two?
All i want to know is where early position, middle position, and late position start and end. (This doesn't inculde the blinds)

Of course, this is general illustration of the positions. After the first round of betting, your middle position may have become early/late (if everyone folds behind you to the blinds, you're late post flop. If everyone folded to you in mid with callers behind you, you became an early post flop)

Ya i know this, thanks for posting it, but in a 9 handed game how does it change
Not counting the blinds, how does it go?
Is the only thing that changes is that one of the middle postions is just erased? In other words in a 10-handed game EP has 2 seats not counting the blinds, MP has 3 seats, and LP has 3 seats. How does this differ in a 9-handed game. What section does the seat get taken out of?
I know this is very technical but was just wondering.

Usually gets taken out of LP or MP ... I'd lean towards LP.
It really doesn't matter, what matters more is how far you are off the button, i.e. how many players are left to act behind you and how likely are you to be playing the hand out of position.
