the casinos over here are just now starting to provide poker games... they only had €5-10 and €10-20 FL games for a few month...
but since a month or two they have been having a €2-4 FL game. i have played it now for i think 6 times.... i had one losing session where i lost like 50 bucks... all the other sessions have been big winners and one break even one.
seriously, this is the softest game i can imagine... lots of regulars. old geezers playing for fun along with their wives... newbies just trying out the game who just learned the rules. you get 3 overcallers on the river with 3d pair, that sort of shit. i have AhKd. board is QJ8 all hearts. i ram and jam, river was another heart. i get payed off by a guy showing Ac 4h. thats the sort of game this is. its also ridiculously easy to put these tards on hands. i just play tight... good starting hands. maybe a lil snazzy hand in late position if pot is developing.. the implied odds are there basically.
this one old guy was chastizing my mate who was on the other end of the table for playing so few hands and not taking risks. why would ya take risks of you can only play premium hands and still get paid off by people who dont even notice it. we go there together alot of the time and have ourselves a little 20% deal. we give the other person 20% of the difference in ur winnings/losses at the end of the night. say i win $100, he wins $200, he gives me $20, thats the deal. its pretty nifty.
i am really deliberating playing this game very regularly grinding it out on my leather ass.
come march 1st, the casino will also be providing us with €10 Sit n Go's...
and €2-2 NL cash games!!!! oh my lawd, if the regular FL crowd starts playing that game i just cannot foresee what kind of maniacalim will occur... it will be beautiful.
does anyone here play in the casino for like a living or something? i mean the donk level is just as high as possible its s ridiculous it makes me think i can do it. i went yesterday and im goin again on saturday.... mayyyyybe tonight. im on the waiting list so prolly not.

This isnt unusual. An indian casino 30-40 minutes from Minneapolis/St Paul opened a poker room just over a year ago. At first, lots of casino games players would wonder in, drop $100-200 in under an hour and leave. It was a feast for anyone w/ experience.
Eventually, they get wise or find out that they lose consistantly and quit. But until that happens, if I didnt have a job, I would be there every day if I were you.

I experience the same thing here in vienna...
we have 2 cardrooms. one is actually like a real casino and the other one is like in the movies  the thing someone imagines who does not play poker and you tell him: i will go to a place to gamble...
I am playing most of the time in the 2nd one, because people there are really playing poorly...
There are some average players out there but the majority is just bad, playing every hand... calling preflopraises of 20 (NL200) with suited cards, even if it is 72...
The first time i went there i was playing with 150 EUR i won in a homegame, expecting to lose everything... after the 3rd time i went there my BR was 1.600  I could not believe it...
I sit in with 100 in chips and 150 in my pocket... i am willing to spend this amount in one session... i wait for connectors, smallpairs suited gapconnectors etc. and try to get in the pot cheap... the implied odds at those tables are so huge... most of them are willing to lose every chip they have with 2 pairs, some specialists even with one pair...
So if you hit, especially a straight, you will get paid off big...
There i had one session where i did break even (cardead for 4 hours and some tough beats, living from a 600eur pot i won) and one losing session (KK beat by a guy calling all in on the flop with A6os, my boat beaten by a better one, staright beaten by a higher, flopped straight beaten by flush on the river)...
In the other casinolike cardroom players are better, eventhough they still play poorly... was there once and after a guy bluffed me out of a big pot (and showed his bluff) i was completly thrown off my game, tilting a bit, but i could keep the loss at 150...
A friend of mine had a small company and he sold it, just keeping 2 clients for a monthly income and he is playing for a living... i dont know exact numbers but i think he is doing fine (if he would stick to NLH instead of playing every game that appears, he would do better)

Sounds great.. where about in Holland are you? Are all casino's offer these games?
I live in antwerp, so I think the closest Casino is in Breda. But I have no ifno on their poker games..

they don't have these games here in Holland Casino Amsterdam.. They do have 50+10 NL tourneys every wednesday, it has unlimited rebuys tho.
