a grand yesterday at the local casino.
1/2nl $100 max. table.

felt bulletproof....still do today.
only my second time in a brick and mortar game and I felt like I couldn't lose.
I shifted gears several times to try out different theories and styles that have or have not worked online.......made me a firmer believer in the limited training free play provides online.

bottom line....had a great time.

sorry, no play by play analysis to provide, that's not my style.
Very Happy

one young guy at the table looked like he had been sitting there for days.....eyes hanging down to his knees. Why would you be playing when you're in that condition? I took some of his money.

another guy was basically psychic and knew what was in any one players hand %75 of the time.....knew his hand didn't beat it....AND NEVER LAID A HAND DOWN....he lost $600 in less than an hour. I busted him 2 times.

Please don't ever let me turn in to either of those types of player.
Shocked

Sunday Morning I woke up at 6 and headed out to the Windsor Casino......who the hell gets up at 6 on their only day off to gamble? Laughing

I was meeting a buddy who also loves the game and is new to Casino play.

we both get seats at separate tables and my day starts off at the 100 max 1/2 table by staring down what looks like a 3K stack across from me.....this chick had been sitting there for a reported 48+ hours..... Shocked
she threw out hand odds and probablilities like a f'ing deep blue IBM.......it was a little intimidating.....

she was also "fighting" with the guy to the right of the dealer....heated arguments would flare up at random and it REALLY killed my gambling buzz. I guess something happened a day or 2 earlier that had her all pissed off and she was taking it out on the poor shit head who dared ask about the "incident"

I wasn't having any fun, which is my number 1 directive behind poker......I was winning some hands, but wanted to shut chickie up and played stupid bullshit hands against her..........and lost. Rolling Eyes

She didn't directly put me on tilt but made the atmosphere so "days of our lives" that I just seemingly wanted to lose and go home.

My patience was nil in waiting for quality hands and my raises were always chasing cards and no solid hands.........I did a lot of reflecting on the ride home and it took 2 days to come here and retell the story.

last time, from zero to hero.
This time hero to zero.

I love this game and have another bit of experience to draw from next time.

Another thing I drew from this round was how different the villains at the table were through the week compared to the weekend crowd......another tool in my box for next time.

Love those rushes were your up thousands and feal unstopable. Great job, however that woman put a damper to that streak. The thing that sucks about that is you almost know they are going to completely ruin your session before it even really begins but still stay seated.

I contemplated leaving, and might have, had I not been there with a buddy.
If I could have walked away and not had to explain my gut feel....I probably would have.
next time.....or something.
