Hey guys,
I am new to the forum and I just wanted to see if any of you are regulars down at foxwoods. I am down there once a week playing in the $5/$10NL game.

I try to get down there once a month, but I haven't been down since before the holidays. I used to play 2/4 limit, but my bankroll is big enough that I'm playing 4/8 now. I want to try the 1-5 Stud game sometime too.

Do you see real good players at 5-10, ur just richer people who risk more playing poker?
Whats the min/max buyins for 5/10 down there? I know they changed up the 1/2 min/max last time i went there to 300 max.

Yeah. The $100 max buy-in was just stupid when they take $10/hour for rake. And it seemed like everyone always made 8-10x BB raises pre-flop.

The min buyin for 5/10nl is min $500 max $2000. The 2/5nl is $300 min and $500 max. The 1/2nl is $60min and $300max.
At the 5/10 there are the regulars that I play with more often then not. Most of the regulars are very good players. There are most certainly "rich flounders" that come around a lot.

I'm currently living in central CT doing an internship but haven't gotten to foxwoods yet, so if I go and play the 1/2 there is a $10 rake per hour or they took that away and do it per hand now?

hmm awesome I'll have to check it out in a few weekends after I brush up on the poker skills  It'd be my first time gambling there legally
