with full tilt
variance is a bitch and its a plenty with full tilt. i keep decent stats and since i opened my account on full tilt on december 12, 2006 i have won 8 mtts, finished 2nd in 9 of them and had 4 3rd place finishes. Seems to me though after a good week im getting hit with the doom switch and every decent hand i get is easily behind! or i get drawn out by a 3 outter. thats fine, it happens. But not every hand right? So this week im moving all my monies to pokerstars. Im sure ill probably come back to FTP at some point in time. but not now
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

even though I'm hovering around the same amount for over a month, I find it really hard to believe that a poker room will actually do that.
But we poker player do suffer from a small superstitious nature, and if it makes you better to play at a different site, follow your hart.
I often half suspect In house bots, I see people raise with hands like 47o and hit a boat, and then keep quiet. I decide to chase them around and catch them using ESP powers again. But then I convince my self it is useless.. Especially when I see them do that move again and miss the flop.
i find it sooo hard to believe that a site that makes $1M legit will need to revert to trickery.
Anyway, good luck! You're a good player and variance sucks!

Giving up rakeback is a burn, but pokerstars is way better for MTTs than Full Tilt. And if you can multi table NL100+ you can make a ton of FPPs, so that's kinda like rakeback. Start collecting iPods and 50" LCD TVs :D

well....in the 5 or 10 mtts that i have played on stars, i do have 2 final tables.
I wasnt getting RB on Full tilt anyways. and Mr. D. im not saying that its rigged. Im just saying that its frustrating when the RNG decides not to like me for a few days

The fact that you have won 9 mtt's or whatever shows that was you have a better than average upswing, now you are on a downswing. That's poker and moving sites isn't going to get rid of that fact.

Yes, accepting the fact that you were running ludicrously hot is probably a good goal to move toward.

i hate stars but it is good for the tournaments. If that's the road you are taking then it might be a good idea to depo a bit there as well.
